Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy
This course prepares students to take the National CCMA exam. The course teaches clinical medical assisting to students by incorporating a body systems approach.
Competencies are presented in detail and include theory, required materials, patient education and charting examples for every procedure. Medical assisting competencies, competency skills performance, medical terminology and abbreviations, case studies with critical thinking questions, and hands on classroom practical experience. Students will also get hands on phlebotomy training and have the chance to take the Phlebotomy Certification Exam.
Students will receive a certificate of course completion.
