Heavy Equipment Operation Training
Heavy Equipment Operation Training is an 160 hour course over four (five-day) weeks. The curriculum for this course is from the NCCER (The National Center for Construction Education and Research). Students will develop entry level skills and gain practical experience on several different types of equipment on varied terrain. Job placement assistance is available for successful graduates.
Subjects covered include:
- Basic Operational Techniques
- Introduction to Earth Moving
- Backhoe
- Excavator
- Dozer
- Front–end Loader
- Skid Steer
Student Requirements:
- Drug Free
- Strong Work Ethic
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation
- Steel Toed Boots
Students will receive a certification of course completion from the WCA Regional Training Center and will also receive an NCCER transcript and wallet card.
